INCOMING EXCHANGE

Prospective Students

Greetings prospective exchange students!

We are excited that you are considering completing a semester or two of study here at Rice. Rice University is consistently ranked as one of the best undergraduate teaching and research institutions in the country. Its small size (approximately 4,000 undergraduate and 3,500 graduate students) allows for a small student-to-faculty ratio. Selectivity, a love of learning, intellectual curiosity, and creativity are only some of the attributes Rice faculty and students share.

Rice University hosts exchange students from partner institutions only. Exchange partnerships enable students to visit the host institution for a semester, or potentially an academic year (two consecutive semesters). Credits earned are transferred to the home institutions according to the home institution's internal rules and regulations. Exchanges take place in the fall and spring semesters. Exchanges are not possible for the summer term.
